    Author Notes:

    Ashley’s home alone, so company comes round.

    When we do eventually part we walk the few short steps towards Madison and then continue back the way Madison and I came from.

    “Where are we going?” Spencer asks from beside me.

    “We, my dear Spencer, are going to the pub.” I say as I sling my arm around her shoulders.

     

    “Not many people in this pub have teeth. Has anyone else noticed that?” I ask as I finish what has to be about my sixth drink in a local pub.

    “I have definitely noticed.” Spencer comments from beside me.

    “Well what do you expect? The state of the people here reflects the state of the place. Anyway I’m up. Same again guys?” Madison asks as she stands up to go to the bar.

    “You knows it.” I say.

    “Yes please.” Spencer is more polite about it. When Madison is at the bar I turn to face Spencer.

    “Why are you here Spence?”

    “You brought me here?”

    “You know that’s not what I mean. What made you come see me tonight? Is something wrong? Are you okay?”

    “I’m fine Ash. I just felt like coming to see you is all.” Spencer says as Madison heads back from the bar.

    “SAMBUCA!” Oh fuck.

     

    After getting bored of the pub, and Madison’s need for us to do the most disgusting shots, we all decide to head home, Madison only has to go round the corner so Spencer and I begin our walk.

    “What time are you supposed to be home?” I ask her in case I’ve kept her later than she should’ve been out.

    “Can I just stay at yours instead please?” She asks as she slides her hand into mine and intertwines our fingers. I just look at her with a smile and nod my head as I look down and stuff my other hand into my pocket.

    “Is your mum asleep?” Spencer asks quietly as we step through my front door.

    “No, she’s gone away for the weekend.” I say as I take off my jacket.

    “So it’s just us?”

    “Yep.”

    “Awesome, lets get into bed and watch a film.” Spencer says as she drags me towards my room.

     

    After the film finishes I’m lying on my back trying to get to sleep, with Spencer on her side next to me. I think she’s finally dozed off but then she begins speaking again.

YES! ok you have no idea how completely excited i get when i see that you’ve updated! and i’m hoping that you’ll be doing a lot more of it because i love this story so damn much. anyway so spence misses ash… maybe she’s getting sick of aiden. i truly hope so. and madison is right on the money even though ash doesn’t wanna believe it because she’s criminally insane… that line had me laughing my ass off. great update and i can’t wait for another!!!

    2. im so glad youre back, this story is, in six words or less, the best story on this site. i dont understand why more folks havent said anything. i myself just found it in july but it shot to the top of my list. i really REALLY hope you do start to update more frequently like you say! im skeptical of spence because she was pretty harsh for a while there… ash is ecstatic, i am too, but she should keep her guard up for a while. ok, we’re ready when you are, thanks so much!
